Aim to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts; we have ample car parking space behind the Church building.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. MISSION STATEMENT

Dear friends,

My Easter message, as always will be 'Alleluia, Christ is risen'

After the terrible crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday, his followers had fled the scene, disappointed, terrified, and feeling lost. But on the third day they found the tomb empty. Jesus had told his followers he would rise on the third day. That day we celebrate as Easter Sunday. We give chocolate eggs as a gift, representing new life.

The tomb is indeed empty, and the body of Jesus is no longer there, he is not dead, he is risen and alive for evermore!

Jesus came to die, to take on the sins of the whole world, he died for you and for me and his resurrection from the dead bring such joy and such hope to everyone who believes in him as the son of God. Jesus truly is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to the father is through him.

I personally extend an invitation to you to join us at Emmanuel for any or all of our services over this Easter period and urge you to drop in and walk our prayer trail. We are here to welcome you, to share our faith in the risen Lord and to give thanks and worship to a faithful and loving God who love the world so much that he gave his only son.
